Handguard Geissele MK14 Super Modular Rail do taktycznego AR-15 charakteryzuje się smukłym przekrojem, co czyni go idealnym wyborem dla strzelców korzystających z pokryw railowych i/lub pionowego uchwytu – a także tych, którzy stosują chwyt „thumb-over-the-bore”.

Podobnie jak MK13 SMR, Geissele MK14 oferuje mnóstwo miejsca na montaż akcesoriów, z slotami M-LOK biegnącymi wzdłuż całej długości handguarda na pozycjach 3, 6 i 9. Dodatkowo, MK14 Super Modular Rail posiada nieprzerwaną szynę Picatinny na górze, co zapewnia dodatkowe możliwości montażu.
Geissele zadbał również o praktyczne detale, w tym gniazda na szybkozłączki QD na pozycjach 11 i 1 z tyłu. Wykonany z mocnego i lekkiego aluminium 6061 T6, handguard jest anodowany w twardej powłoce typu III.

Geissele zaprojektował handguard MK14 Super Modular Rail, aby swobodnie unosił lufę, wykorzystując łatwy do zainstalowania, opatentowany barrel nut. Nakrętka ma długość 2,25 cala, co zapewnia dużą powierzchnię do stabilnego i sztywnego mocowania handguarda w miejscu. Należy zauważyć, że blok gazowy nie jest już dołączany do tych handguardów.
The Geissele MK14 Super Modular Rail tactical AR-15 handguard has a slim cross-section that makes it is ideal for shooters who use rail covers and/or a vertical grip - and who also employ the thumb-over-the-bore support hand grasp. Similar to their MK13 SMR, the Geissele MK14 delivers acres of real estate for mounting accessories, with M-LOK slots running the handguard’s full length at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. The MK14 Super Modular Rail also sports an uninterrupted Picatinny rail running the full length of the top. Geissele even thoughtfully includes sockets for QD pushbutton sling swivels at the 11 and 1 o’clock positions at the rear. Strong & lightweight machined 6061 T6 aluminum Barrel Nut Wrench no longer included with the handguards. Type III hardcoat anodized Available in basic Black or Geissele’s Desert Dirt Color (DDC) Proprietary free-float barrel nut included Geissele also engineered the MK14 Super Modular Rail handguard to free-float the barrel using their easy-to-install proprietary barrel nut. The nut is 2.25" long, so there’s plenty of surface area for secure, rigid, straight anchoring of the handguard in place. Please note that a gas block is no longer included with these handguards.
